Day 43 20 more days to go!
...of this thing that Linda keeps calling "pregnancy"
. Not sure what that is, but I am growing bigger each day and hungry,
hungry, hungry! I am eating regular food mixed with puppy food and it is
really good! Not to mention the goats milk, egg, yogurt, water mixture
that is on top of it. Like a big bowl of kibble with melted ice cream on
it for each meal ! I can still jump up and down on the TALL bed in the bedroom
or curl up on the chair in front of the window and watch the birds
outside. Still can't quite figure out why I don't get to go to class
anymore and visit with my friends. Then there is that strange box
downstairs in the newly painted laundry room or the "nursery" as it is
now labeled. Still looks like a laundry room to me, but the yellow is very
pretty and the pictures on the wall are interesting! It is very bright and
cheery. Not that I want to spend anytime down there vs. the comfy couch up
here! Linda better not be getting any weird idea's about me spending any
time down there! All in all, I am very bored.........ho hum.....
Day 48 15 more days to go!
Learning new things today. Not quite sure why, but I am always up for
something new! Today I practiced laying on my side with my toys lined up
at my belly. Linda called it "belly up to the bar". I
thought a "bar" was that thing Carla carried around the ring at my
last agility trial. I thought it was something that I jumped over.
Guess I was wrong. Oh well, off to chase a squirrel that Slick has stuck
up in the pine tree. He has been on watch for about a 1/2 hour and now it
is my turn....although after about 1 minute, I give up! Squirrels are not
THAT important!
Corrected Count! -- Day
52 approx 11 more days to go
Oh whoa is me....this isn't looking good. Something in my memory is
taking me back - wayyyyyy back to a day when I was spending lots of time with Mr
Froggy. I seem to remember curling up to him and taking long naps.
But if my memory serves me right, I wasn't alone. I had quite a few
"others" to keep me company. I remember one that used to climb
on me...well, he climbed on everything - OMG !!! it is all coming back to
me!! JEEP ! Oh no! please don't tell me that I have to spend time with him
AGAIN!! He walked on my head and used to sleep on the pig rail !
SOMEBODY---HELP ME !!!
Day 55 --- 8 days to go
I think that I swallowed an alien. I lay on the floor and something in me
keeps squirming around inside me. I don't think it is my stomach, although
I am hungry all the time. Maybe I have "worms"? I just
seem to get comfortable on my side and BAMM....there is goes, I have to switch
to my other side and then BAMM...there it is again! Then Linda keeps
saying "let me tickle the babies". What babies? I don't
see any babies around here except for BABY BRAIN SLICK -- will he ever grow
up?? Linda keeps telling me that I am cooking "new toys to play
with". Why would I be doing that? We have a HUGE toy box full of
toys and she just washed them, so they all smell like new! Speaking of
which, I need to go count them and make sure she didn't throw any out ! She is
sneaky like that!
Day 57 6 days to go!
Life is getting harder and harder...I need to find an 24 workout center...I keep
getting fatter and fatter every day. Laying down is not comfortable,
jumping on the bed is harder, I can't curl up in Linda's lap and forget
snuggling with John in the recliner...THAT isn't happening! I can't
even curl up in my bed anymore, I don't fit!!! I try to do my jump up and leap
and it turns into a "little hop and half of a wiggle".
Maybe this is just water weight and I just need to take a water pill??
GROAN AND MOAN, GROAN AND MOAN...that is all I do...is GROAN AND MOAN
.....
Day 59 4 days to go!
I am moving slower an slower and getting bigger and bigger each HOUR! The
aliens are kicking and moving and I think they want out. Lord knows I
don't even want to think about HOW they are going to do that! I am really
sticking close to my Mom and Riggs is loving every minute of it. She likes
to have me close by. I have a funny feeling that the next few days are not
going to be the easiest for me......GROAN......
Day 1 - WEEKS to go!
The big day came and went. When it first started, I was very very
scared. I didn't know what was going on. It was about 7am and I was
shaking and crying and panting and Linda kept telling me that I would be
okay. Then in a blink a new toy arrived. Maybe Santa came
early! It was little and squeaking and needed to be LICKED! YEAH
LICKING!!! I am very good at that! and more importantly nobody was saying
"NO LICK"! WHAT is THAT all about??!!!!
Then Carla and Karen came to visit. Normally I would be very excited to see
them, but I was busy and I kept busy until about 5pm when I had my last
"toy", but he wasn't breathing...so sad...
I had 2 girls - one was stillborn, then a boy, then 2 more girls, then 3 boys -
8 all together but I have 6 now - 3 boys and 3 girls. All born on Grandma
Ann's birthday, so we know that she is looking down and blessing us and looking
after the ones that went to heaven OR she telling Chatter to
keep the box clean! I think it is the latter!
It is a true Brady Bunch litter just like the one that Hobby came from - Hobby
was "Peter". If memory serves me right, it is Greg, Peter, Bobby
and Marcia, Jan and Cindy. NAH !! we will just call them Neck Female, Tail
Male....Oh and BTW --- I am a whole lot skinnier right now! Glad I took
that "water pill" !
Day 2 -- WEEKS to go! TOYS
TOYS TOYS....
I won't leave the box.....Linda can't make me leave the box.....the
toys need me in
the box.....if I leave the box, someone will steal the toys.....the toys will starve to
death.....Santa will give them away as Christmas presents.....okay, okay,
okay....I will go outside to go to the bathroom, but then you HAVE to let me
back in the box.....I only count 5 toys....where is the other toy?....what
did you do with the other toy?.....did he run away from home?.....yikes!....he
must be here somewhere....oh good, there he is.....is he cold?... is he
hot?....I
need water, but it is too far away to drink...these moving toys are hard to keep
track of.....life was much simpler when all I had to do was keep track of my
STUFFED toys! Wherever you put them, they stayed there.....well unless
Slick buzzed by!
Day 3 -- WEEKS to go! GOTTA EAT !
Food, Food, Food,,,,I guess that is where they will get their food-drive
from...ME ! All I want to do is EAT! The more food the better.
McDonalds anyone?? NO! Linda said I have to eat healthy...good
food...mixed with puppy food so the toys get big and strong.
BIG???!!!! I don't want these things latched onto me when they are fifty
pounds! I can say that they actually slept today for a little bit and took
a break from eating at the snack bar. On the other hand....excuse me while I try
and get Linda to give me just one more little snack .... maybe 3 cups of food
with a side or rice and cake for desert.....one can WISH, can't they!
Day 4 -- Visitors
Today was a very busy day. The sun was out and lots of blue sky - I can
see it thru the window...I still don't like to leave the toys for any length of
time and it is cold outside anyway! Today I had lots of visitors, although
I think they came to see the toys - not me. Isn't that a slap in the
face! I have the cutest face ever and give the best licks and they just
gave me a little pat on the head and ooooohhed and aaaahhhhhed over the
toys. What am I - chopped liver? The toys don't even know how to
lick ! and you can only cuddle them if you wrap them in a little blanket
and hug them tight. Otherwise they just wiggle and squirm and make funny
noises. I am sure they are talking, but I can't figure out in what
language...it sure isn't dog-lish. So everything is now back to
normal, the room is quiet and the toys are happy and content..... and so am I !!
Day 5 -- Get it any way you can!
Another day in the box and I am thinking this picture says it all! When
you are full, turn over and start again....hey, whatever works!
Day 6 - Substitute Journalist "Grandma Riggs"
Chatter decided to take a break from "blogging" today ( They used to
call it "journaling"), so I am taking over for today.
As you can see my days are very hard and I have a tough job. Trying to
keep this chair from swiveling is the hard part. Although it sometimes
swivels toward the window and I can watch the deer and chippys go by. That
is exciting. I remember the days when I used to be the one in the box with
the toys. I was happiest then! I would teach them to tug and jump
and play. I was so good at that. I tried to give Chatter some
advice, but being the know-it-all-daughter that she is, she won't listen and
wants to do things her way. Just wait, in a couple of weeks she will be
begging me for advice and wanting me to babysit those toys! Maybe I will
say "no".......NAH.....I am actually looking forward to spending some
time with the grandkids! Someone has to teach them to TUG better than a
Border Collie! THAT's ME !
ONE Week old ! 6 weeks to go! Angels vs Demons
I have come to the conclusion that these toys think it is "all about
them". You would think they were related to Slick. In most
cases they are quiet and comfortable and calm, but then something comes over
them. They become possessed by some sort of demon and become ravenous
aliens. The cry, squeak, squeal, burp, tumble, log roll and have no
respect for each other, pushing each other out of the way, trying to be first. Then they EAT. Then they become quiet,
sleeping little angels that are comforted by each other and the warmth of the
heat lamp or my chest, tail or leg. Sleeping little furry toys that you
just want to cuddle and kiss. Then there is that "puppy
breath"......need I say more......
1 week, 1 day old Enjoy the Day
Tomorrow the training starts...no more laying around sleeping and eating,
sleeping and eating...the work begins. Every one of you needs to be in
tip-top shape when you go to your new homes. Attention exercises are
number one on the list with problem solving abilities coming in close behind,
retrieving, social skills, playing well with others....so much to learn, so
little time! So enjoy today because tomorrow a new day is dawning and the
world will find out what you are made of ! No wimps, No sissies, No
bully's, No mules....just show me your "Gotta Work and Get the Job Done
Attitude" !
1 week, 2 days old Problem Solving
Today is problem solving day.....so the test begins......No problem.......they
figured it out!! SMART TOYS !
1 week, 3 days old Birds!
All good Golden Retrievers need to be good at obedience (of course) and agility
(what fun!), but we can't forget about what we were bred to do - BIRDS! So
today's lesson was getting to know the winged creatures that we may come across
someday.
1. See it
2. Smell it
3. Chase it and if it is dead
4. Pick it up and bring it back
Remember these rules, in that order please!
Maybe, just maybe, when it is served on the table you will get some!, If
not...next time just delete rule #4 !
vs
1 Week, 4 days old Comparatively Speaking
The Toys are getting bigger and they don't all seem to fit like they used
to. The Belly Bar is getting a little smaller and not seating them like it
used to, although they sure seem to want to eat the same amount! Buddha
Boy likes to stretch out under the pig rail and the Tail Girl likes to be by my
face. They are starting to develop some unique personality traits, even at
this young age. I do have a favorite, although I won't share it,- I
wouldn't want the other Toys to feel unwanted!
Week 1, 5 days old Sunday - a day to rest
The Toys have little beady slits where their eyes should be and now they are
starting to get a little black round spot in the corners of the slits. I
think they are growing eyes! That would be nice. I thought I was
going to have to call around to see if I could get some Seeing Eye Dogs for all
of them. I saw something on TV about a Seeing Eye Miniature Horse! He wore
funny shoes with rubber on the bottom of them. I think THAT would be a
little over the top! I really can't wait for them to be able to see
me! I am sort of pretty, even if I do say so myself ! I think they
will be alot like me... cuddly....that is my favorite thing to do !!!
Week 1, 6 days old All I Want for Christmas.....
....is a little "Peace", not on earth, (although that would be
wonderful)...I just want Peace in the
toy-box! When they are sleeping it is peaceful, but now, when they get up
and want to eat, they are fast and furious. They get their little legs are
under them and they can race across the box with the speed of light - well, okay
maybe not THAT fast, but they are pretty quick ! I think I have my
work cut our for me in the next few weeks...nah....I am pretty fast
myself....remember I can run at MACH speed!
2 Weeks old How Does She Know?
Not quite sure how Linda always knows when I am doing something bad or wanting
to go out....she must have a sixth sense about these things. I seem to get
whatever I want, whenever I want it. Think that it will be this way
forever? I need water...she is there. I need food...she is
there. I need to go out....the door opens up. The toys are under the
rail and she comes down and pulls them out, although they seem to get out just
fine on their own. Red boy has got a really Reverse -- all he needs is a
back up beeper! I do hate it though when I start to rag up the blanket, I
hear her voice thru the walls saying "Chatter - cut it out!".
How does she know...she must be psycho...ummmm....I mean
"psychic" !
2 Weeks, 1 day old Hallelujah ! We See the
Light !
The world is a much brighter place than it was yesterday for the toys.
Yellow, red, white, blue, all the colors of the rainbow - but they don't even
know what a rainbow is. So now they can see where they will fall as they
wobble and try to walk across the box, where as before, it was just fall, get
up, fall, get up, fall get, up...repeat. Now it is ...I am falling in THIS
corner, falling in THAT corner, falling in the MIDDLE of the box. The
drawback is, not only can they can hear me come in -- now they can see me in the box and I can't
hide anymore. Those were the days!!
2 Weeks, 3 days old MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL !!
II you are reading this, I can only hope that Santa brought you everything you
wanted, needed or wished for. If not, just look around and if you are
sitting next to someone you love, you are blessed and need nothing more.
Whether it is two legged or four legged - you are a lucky person. I am
very lucky - I have a wonderful 2 legged family and now I am blessed with 6 new
Toys that I will get to watch grow up and make me proud! What a great
Christmas this is.. I have the best presents ever!!!!!!
2 Weeks, 4 days old Agility Training Day
Today we start our foundation agility training. The tunnel is the most fun
obstacle, so of course we started with that.
In - Out - In - Out - In - Out....not sure how much fun it is when the only
cookies we get is from mom herself...maybe if the tunnel led to moms tummy it
would be more inviting! Gotta talk to the trainer and see what we can do
about this.
3 Weeks old ! Obedience Training Day
Time for the Toys to start their obedience training and I may as well start them
with retrieving since they are RETRIEVERS ! Trying to find a dumbell their
size was a little difficult but after hours of shopping online, I found one to
fit. Ordered, paid for, shipped and arrived on time and intact...hard to
break plastic ! First order of business was having them notice it - some
did, some didn't. None of them picked it up, but a few gave it a good
taste. That was a start and tomorrow I will work on holding it. I
hope to have them retrieving by the end of the week. And if you believe
that I have some swampland in Florida for you and a really nice bridge......
3 Weeks and 1 day old STAR Power ! CLICK
ON THE PICTURE!!!!
All the puppies need to learn that they are STARS and that they need to
shine. Versatility is the key. If you can sing and dance and act,
you will get more roles - simple as that. No need to be a peg that only
fits one hole. So today we start a multitude of things so that we can PLAY
ALL THE GAMES !
How do you get to Carnegie Hall - practice...practice...practice.....and we
are!
3 Weeks and 2 days
old HAPPY NEW YEAR
!!
Welcome to 2010 ! Hope you have the best year ever!! As you can see
the Toys were out pretty late last night and they are spending the day resting and
relaxing and catching up on their beauty sleep ! We did have a great time
eating, drinking, dancing and just plain having fun ! We liked it so much
- maybe we will continue the trend...having fun that is! But just
between you and me...I think one of the Toys is going to have a drinking
problem!

- click to see us eat our very first "real meal deal" !
3 Weeks and 3 days old Look out Paris
Hilton!
Welcome to my world - seems there is a rumor around that there are certain
people out there that want to dress up my Toys. Now, let me go on record
as saying that I am totally against Toys wearing clothes...but if that is
"to be", then I may as well get them used to it. This little
girl was not impressed by the whole thing. Dressing up, make-up and posing
all seemed to bore her. Paris Hilton? NOT!!! ,,,, but
then how in the world would she be able to walk and hold a Chihuahua in her
hand?
3 Weeks and 5 days old Meet and Greet
Guest Journalist - Green Girl aka Monkey. Sorry I missed yesterday,
but I was busy making new friends! Everyone came to see us and we worked
very hard at putting on our best performances. It was very hard being on
our best behaviour too...but Mom said that we needed to make a good
impression. I don't remember everyone's name, but I like all of
them. They were kind, considerate of us and held us tight and rocked us to
sleep. We got a chance to play tug of war with a few pant legs and bit a
few toes! What fun. We did meet a big black hairy dog - I think his
name is SHOONER or was it SCHOONER? Not sure, but he was nice. Told
us to get big quick and he would show us his "catch me" game - sounds
fun!
4 weeks old ! Time to
Think Outside the Box!
The
Toys live in a box, it is a rather big box but it is getting a little cramped as
the Toys get bigger.
Linda
was nice enough to make us a BIGGER box - she calls it the Puppy Play Pen.
She said it is where the Toys can play during the day...they can sleep in the
smaller box at night. So today we took them to the Puppy Play Pen where
they proceeded to run around and investigate every corner, bed, blanket, toy and
piece of paper. They had a grand time of it!
Then
the Toys found the Green Box that Linda called the airline crate. The Toys
claimed it for their own and I it only proves that sometimes bigger isn't
better.
A
little while later Linda put them back in their smaller box and low and behold,
there was another box! Of course the Toys claimed THAT box and were very
happy little "boxers".
4 weeks and 2 days old Don't Box Me In
My Toys have ADHD....they enjoyed the boxes for one day and now they are into
the wide open spaces. I gave them a nice soft bed to lay in and cuddle
with each other...NOOOOOO.....they want to straddle the side of the bed and
sleep on the cold floor. Although there is a nice soft layer of anti
fatigue matting which is very cushy and not so cold! So they don't look
very comfortable, but it is there choice. The have a thousand toys to chew
on .....NOOOOOOO....they want to chew on the papers, the blanket, the expen, the
crate and Linda's hands and pull on her shirt. Do you think that I need to
take them to the vet and get them some puppy downers? Hope not! But
just remember that once they leave my supervision - I am not longer responsible
for their chewing! I think I will make everyone sign a Hold Harmless
Waivor!
4 Weeks and 4 days old Lights, Camera, Action
Today was the busiest day ever for the Toys...they got a taste of what it was
like to be on a real live "set" and pose for pictures and learn how to
show their cute side. From there the day got busier and busier and busier
with people coming and going thru the door. In, out, in, out and by 7pm
they were exhausted. The Toys did a great job posing and getting dressed
up for the pictures. I am so glad that I had them practice it earlier in
the week. I need to work on their stays, though. A few of them had
trouble sitting still and caused problems for the others. I will have a
talk with them tomorrow when they are more awake and listening to me. Look
out Santa Buddies ... you guys got nuthin' on us!

Going Places
Looks like the Toys are going places! Their first "place" was to
the living room which ended up being the hallway and computer room....there was
just no stopping them. Their next "place" was the great
outdoors...cement, grass and that funny white stuff that is very very
cold. They liked it! Grandma Riggs tried her best to get them to
play and chase, but they didn't want any part of it. They just wanted to
explore and find things they shouldn't have! She even did the "watch
me chase my tail" and the "I bet you can't do this"
routines....they were not impressed at all. They were much more impressed
that they got to go in the house and back outside all on their own!
What fun that was!
5 Weeks and 4 days
old APPLAUSE PLEASE !
Chatter is off today and not in the mood to write....so I am covering for
her. You may not know me, but I am the hardest working member of this
"team". Without me everything would be yellow, brown and
stinky. I think everyone should stand up and give me a huge STANDING
OVATION for over 5 weeks of vigilant service without any complaints or asking
for a raise in pay! THANK YOU !
5 weeks and 5 days old The Great
Outdoors
The Toys have decided that the "inside" is not as good as the
"outside" and that they need to be "outside" or they are not
happy. They want to play in the cold white stuff and roll in the
dirt. FIGURES! They just got their first bath and already want to be dirty
again! Not to mention finding all the stuff that they get to put in their
mouth instead of wear! Leaves, dirt, sticks, pieces of the bush, a dead
bug-UGH are among the highest priority of edibles! There is just no
stopping them now!!!
6 weeks old !!! Follow the Leader
They say "if you are not the lead dog, the scenery never
changes". So true ! But if you are going to Follow the leader,
then you better make sure that they are capable of leading you to a place you
want to be. In this case - where you SHOULD be. You should be on the
patio, not in the yard falling through the snow. Not up the hill where it
is all icy. Not in the flower garden, that is the purpose of the little
green fence...you know the one...the one you had to work really hard to thread
through! Oh yeah, and when Linda calls "puppy puppy" you
shouldn't run the other way - after all, she is the LEAD DOG - or -and if you
don't know that, soon, you will find out!
6 weeks and 3 days old Doctor Doctor - Give me the News
What a BIG day for the Toys...it was their first car ride or should I say BUS
ride. Too bad it wasn't someplace really fun...instead is was to the
VETS! Grandma Riggs went along for moral support, she needed to see Dr
Hawkins, too.
Nancy came along to help with her extra set of hands, which made it soooo much
easier for Linda, and all in all, it was pretty uneventful, Yellow Girl
"Tater" decided to sing with the radio because I am sure that she was
not complaining about the motion of the bus, or the noise of the bus, or the
scenery flying by...I am sure it was singing! She can certainly carry a
tune! After spending 10 minutes or so serenading the passengers, all the
Toys settled down for a nice cozy nap...just about the time for us to pull into
the parking lot! Figures! The Toys got a nice exam and hugs from Dr.
Hawkins and she gave us all a clean bill of health and a poke in the
shoulders. The Toys were little troopers and never let out a squeak!
She seems very nice and you can tell she likes us! The Toys made it home
in one piece and were very happy to run outside and do their business, play in
the family room and then eat and go to bed. WHEW...Linda needs a nap!
6 weeks and 4 days old Ripe for the Pickin'
Yesterday and today was PICKIN' DAY.
"Pick me ! Pick me! I want to go home with YOU!
No...pick me!!!' That is what I tried to teach them to say...but they
would not obey. So I just had to leave them on their own and hope for the
best. Hope they were on their best behavior and didn't act like
fools! Not going to tell who picked who quite yet, will give
them time to think about their decision - but come Tuesday there are "no
switchies". Although I am sure that everyone is going to stick to
their pick.
As far as names go...some are pretty simple, some are pretty unusual. Stay
tuned for the final results and the names of the new faces you will be seeing!
6 weeks and 5 days old I Bow to You
Some things just seem to follow generation to generation. Some things skip
a generation. I guess BOWING is something that just seems to be the thing
to do....generation after generation. Grandma Riggs bows, Chatter bows and
NoMark girl bows....Something that will be quite handy if the ever meet the
Queen!
6
weeks and 6 days old
Singing in the Rain....oh I am Singing in the Rain.....What a Glorious
Feeliing...I'm Happy.....
The Toys met "rain" today, puddles aka lakes, mud and the likes of
which they have never seen. Are you surprised that they LIKED IT !
Yes, they LIKED it ALOT. So much fun, that they wouldn't come in the house
and Linda wasn't wearing shoes so she couldn't go out and get them without
having to "fetch" a pair. She did try everything she could think
of to get them in, but nothing worked. Even Grandma Riggs couldn't
convince them to come in! Sliding on the snow mound which turned into a
toboggan run was the fun part and of course the video camera was dead!
Luckily by afternoon the rain had stopped the small lake dissipated and the
patio became a puppy playground again. Luckily for Linda that is !
7 weeks old !! Meet and Greet
The Toys need to know that all dogs or four legged creatures do not look alike,
so today's lesson was a Meet and Greet. Not quite sure what breed it was,
but I am thinking that if they ever come across a sheep, the won't be worried!
7 weeks and 1 day old
Just Days Left
Linda said that the Toys can't stay and that at the end of the week they will be
going to their new homes....I am sad....I like playing with the Toys. It
took me a few weeks to figure out HOW to play with them, but now I know and I
like it. Grandma Riggs is like a kid again. Playing, tugging,
bowing, running, barking....she likes the Toys. We want them to stay, but
Linda said "no", they have to go. They have to go to their new
homes where they will be loved, trained and the new owners can buy boxes of
band-aids and antibiotic cream for their hands, ear, nose and chin! Linda
said her hands need to heal and hope they won't scar. She is worried about
those little scars - has anyone looked at my BOOBS lately!! They will
never be back to normal !!!
7 weeks and 2 days old Up Up and AWAY!!!!!!!!
Guest-writer: Linda
I don't have enough kiddi gates or hands! The girls have mastered the
stairs! A full flight of stairs with no railing on the one side!
They saw Slick at the top and decided that if it was good enough for him...it
was good enough for them and off they went! Up Up and AWAY with me behind
them scrambling trying to catch them before the turned around and fell.
Very scarey, but now that it is over and nobody was hurt....it was sort of
funny. John came down and stood on the steps and they were off
again! Caught some of it on video and will try and post it on youtube.
So a gate went up and I am officially out of gates.........oh wait!....I think I
have one more in the carport!!!!!!!!!!!!! I may be in luck !
7 weeks and 3 days old Breaking Down Barriers
Guest-writer: Linda
I know what I will be doing on Sunday - taking down the barriers along with the
big puppy pen, the expen/chicken wire play yard outside. It is sort of
bitter sweet because it means that the puppies will be gone. No more getting up
early to spend at least one and half hours with them before work. It took them
that long to get tired so I could put them back in their pen. No more
staying up late because they always wanted to play until 11 or 11:30pm. No
more standing outside in the dead of winter with just a little fleece jacket on
and a pair of fuzzy slippers. No more hearing about what they did during
the day because some of you got to see them while you were at work! The
funniest thing was Chatter getting busted for going down there and eating their
food when I was at work! After that she got locked up and couldn't get
down there! Devil-Dawg! No more puppy breath. No more puppy
kisses. No more puppy bites (I won't miss that one!). No more visits from
friends who haven't been over to visit in forever....and no more puppy pee
and poop! ( another thing I won't miss)
It will all be replaced with emails, phone calls, updates, jpg's and watching
them in class - grow, learn and be loved by their new owners. My only job
will be to spoil them when I see them, help them get trained so they live up to
their potential and hope they stay happy, healthy and perfect in every
way. I know that is a lot to ask for, but I always say - REACH FOR THE
MOON, IF YOU MISS, THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN IS THAT YOU WILL LAND ON A
STAR!
Bye Bye Bugs.....it has been fun!!!
