Schooner's new friend!
She was there for the entire class, never moved or even flicked an ear!!! Actually we didn't even notice her until Cathi screamed about an hour and half into the class!
I called my neighbor who works with the DNR fostering animals and she told me that for about 3 weeks, the mom leaves her baby like that and just goes away. They have no scent and predators don't even notice them. Dogs can't smell them and even coyotes walk over them!
I put up the video camera in hopes that mom will come and get her and we will be able to watch the reunion !!
GOOD NEWS....at 3pm, mom came and got her baby and I got to watch the happy reunion ... and got it on video too!
